
BIO
Jiali is a landscape architect with a strong focus on urban regeneration and resilient waterfront projects. Before joining SWA, she worked as a landscape designer and project manager in Beijing, China, contributing to a diverse range of projects including campus developments, residential complexes, mixed-use spaces, and open green areas. In 2020, Jiali earned a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture along with a Sustainable Urbanism Certificate from Texas A&M University, where her academic work garnered two Texas ASLA awards and a National ASLA award. Since joining SWA Group, she has been actively involved in numerous projects across southern China, the United States, and the Middle East, covering public green spaces, commercial developments, and private communities. She has experience in various design aspects including GIS-based site analysis, design concepts, graphics and 3D modeling and documentation. As a landscape designer, she is focused on researching the applications of computational design in areas such as climate change, ecosystem restoration, resilient development, and urban regeneration in coastal areas.
